A satellite image showing the British Isles almost completely free of cloud at the weekend has been released by the University of Dundee.

 

Blue skies have been the norm in recent days, as the UK basks in glorious sunshine.

The image, from the university's Satellite Receiving Station, was taken on Saturday 26 May.
